Our Materials

We only use best quality materials for our house signs and memorials and take a great pride in delivering the best there is.
The wood used in our house signs and house numbers is harvested from sustainable and managed forests under the stewardship of 'Coed Cymru' (a partly governmentally funded organisation dedicated to the well being of the woodlands of rural Wales). House Signs, House Names and House Numbers are all made from locally grown tough Welsh Hardwoods and are a result of the natural thinning process which has been adopted for hundreds of years.
Our Stone Memorials and Stone House Signs are sourced from various locations and are carefully scrutinised before going forward for production. We are naturally a great fan of Welsh slate and can produce some stunning freestanding Chunky memorials which have stood the test of time for millions of years from the quarries of North Wales.  The main appeal of these Memorials is the uniqueness as each memorial is individual and completely different.
The granite used for our 'Photos on granite' range is absolute top quality and gives the laser engraving a stunning crisp finish.
The wood used on our mounted memorial engraved plaques and memorial crosses is  best quality mahogany, superbly contoured and finished to compliment the engraving. We laser engrave onto latest state of the art outdoor weatherproof and maintenance free metallic plates.  The laser burns off the top layer of the 2 core plate, leaving the base layer exposed in varying degrees of shade and we are able to achieve unbelievable results for text and greyscale photographs.
We are therefor able to offer an inexpensive option for customers to email their photos and produce fadesafe and weatherproof plates to add to their memorials or garden plaques.
The canvas used for our 'Portraits on Canvas' range is again best quality and the ink used for printing our Giclee prints on canvas is Epson Ultra Chrome K3 ink which is guaranteed not to fade.
