We wanted to have the plaque very personal with a image of our babies footprints etched onto it and Barry helped us to get it just right. The service I received was outstanding - no query or question was too much trouble to answer and replies were prompt if not almost instantaneous! The plaque arrived on the day promised and is absolutely beautiful. The pictures really don't do the slate plaques justice - they are so special in the flesh! The price was also extremely competitive being only marginally more than a plastic laminate sign of the same size. So for a beautiful, natural product it was well worth it and I would certainly recommend and use this company again.  Useful

It actually managed to give me some pleasure at a time of great sadness. I was greatly impressed with the speed and efficiency of House and Garden Plaques, and for their helpfullness when I made a special request for the lettering. The mock up idea, which was answered in less than a half an hour, proved very useful as I was able to see that an alternative phrase worked better. The help I received was very kind and reassuring.  House and Garden Plaques was the perfect website, it provided a an easy to use interface and platform which tended to our exact needs as a potential buyer.

I would also like to point out that the staff that got in contact with me after I requested a free mock-up of the plaque were very friendly and ultimately helpful.

The product itself, needless to say based on their excellent customer service, was exactly what we asked for, amazing quality and good value.

 I changed the name of the house I was moving into and the process took longer than expected. So, I needed a name plaque quickly. I rang Barry Young at this company to discuss what I needed and he made useful recommendations. The plaque arrived within the week and was absolutely perfect. It's well made, clear and looks very classy indeed. The service, attention to detail and speed of work was outstanding. I'm now looking for other things I can put a name plate! I would recommend this company highly and without reservation.

 Thank you for a truly wonderful product looked at the sit on Saturday. Had a 'mock' of my purchase on Sunday Ordered it Monday and received it on thursday. Now THAT's what I call Service. The Plaque was just what I wanted and good quality. I had been quoted 10 times the price I paid for the plaque. It now has pride of place in my garden as a dedication to lost loved one's

 I found Handmade Signs via Google and we had a slate house name plate made for the re-naming of our new home. I found they were the best value for money, offered great customer service and contact throughout, the delivery was much faster than anticipated (I am surprised the paint had time to dry) AND the plate, when we received it, was beautifully made. Thank you so much, would definitely recommend Handmade Signs.

 My Mum and I had been searching for a long time for a Memorial for my Nan's resting place. It had become so difficult to find something that was suitable. We found that so many Stone Masons seem to me more than happy to take large amounts from bereaved families like ourselves. And you feel like you have no choice at all but to pay.
